hey ya'll, anyone looking forward to this new show that kiku is bringing in?....idk, about you guys, but it doesn't look very enticing to me. i wish kiku would be bring in more dramas....ohh well, nothing really else to watch since hotman ended and musashi is coming to a close soon. alright folks.

well usually i'll give the first episode a try and see if i like it. at first i thought the hotman preview synopsis was boring, but the show turned out to be pretty good. if anything, this new show seems like a more controversial one, as it's about mother and daughter going for the same guy. i guess it will depend on how it's portrayed.

that is true. i guess, there's really no other j dramas to watch for the moment. may as well....

Hi,Im Sansei and Im now watching Younger Men Series and at first,I was Also Skeptical only Since Im watching it,It's Nothing Like Hotman only It will Come to have it's own Style and Plot's like a Real Japanese Drama would have so I Think it would Grow on Me and I Do hope they Make more of Kinpachi Sensei Series is I do Enjoy that Series.I Also Hope they Do Bring back Abarenbo Shogun and Toyama no Kinsan is these were my Favorite Program's when I Was Young and I Hope they Bring Back More Japanese Superhero's from the Past and I Know it's Expensive only if they maybe able to Find the Fund's to Do it,I Hope they do is so I Can Enjoy watching my Favorite Japanese Superhero's from my Past and The Kid's of Today would enjoy the Superhero's from The Past,My Yesteryear so I Thought to Post my Thought's here.Domo Arigato No Tame ni Listening:O)

watched it. it was actually pretty good, a LOT better than i expected. This may actually be one of the better drama's i've seen in a while. And this is a real drama, if you know what i mean. It's a lot more serious and it's all about love and relationships. They haven't played a serious drama like this in a while but it was pretty good.

| this show blows chunks! the actress inamori izumi really sucks. she has no charisma, even the 50 year old actress fubuki jun has more charisma than her! the dude who portrayed kintaro, boy he sucks too. what an awful cast. a bunch of lame-o's. |

I missed the first half, I forgot about it.
Kintaro where are you? I can't handle him in this role. Maybe as the series continues I'll get used to it.
Also the Inamori Izumi's character is so depressing, so opposite from her character in Pretty Girls!
This show is a bit like Dreams of Romance and Where is Love put together.
I hope it picks up. I was disappointed that I didn't tape it, but after watching it, I'm not.

I keep catching the last 5 minutes of this show, but based on most people's reactions, I guess I didn't miss much.
Makes you wonder if Izumi needed the money. She should just stick to more light hearted or fun characters. Serious ones don't quite suit her.

i'm probably one of the only ones that has actually seen both episodes in entirety ... hahahaha. now with that being said and just based on these two episodes ... i must say that this is the most f'ed show i've ever seen. it even beats out love complex (can anyone tell me what the meaning of that ending was?) for me ... hahahaha.
i agree with all of your opinions though ... this show pretty much sucks. inamori is drab and kintaro ... why the hell are you macking on someone older than you?! the only bright spot for me is hoshino mari .. hahahaha. both theme songs suck too. normally if i don't like it at first ... after listening to it for about 5-6 episodes it'll grow on me ... i know right now it won't. and speaking of these theme songs ... is that enka sounding tune takahashi singing? cuz that sure as hell don't sound like the stuff i've heard from him (all the kintaro themes) ... hahahaha.
anyways, just wanted to add on my opinion to all of y'alls.

By the way, I refer anyone who questions Fubuki Jun's qualifications as babe mom to Kimutaku's quote about her in the first episode of "Long Vacation."
And I got some pretty kewl pics of her from back in the day that a friend of mine INSISTS I send him every time his computer HD goes kaput. Yes, they're THAT good.

lol, am i the only person who thinks this show is not bad? And the only one that thinks the theme song is pretty good. In fact, that's probably one of my favorite things about the series and i liked it since the first time i heard it. Along with the pretty and hot lead actress. But i'm not the only one who's seen the first two episodes completely.

This show is currently airing in Los Angeles, but it's titled "Younger Man." Subtitling is done by Nippon Golden Network, and the quality (spelling and grammar) of the subtitles is the best I've seen.
Is the version in Honolulu the same, or did JN Productions do the subtitles?
