| Seriously? If so, that's awesome. I've been waiting for a great new drama, and I've heard so much about Orange Days. It was one of the most popular shows when it was on, and I look forward to it. |

Yeah! I just saw the Orange Days commercial on Kiku. This was the best drama I saw while I was in Okinawa. Much better than Slow Dance right now. |

Many familiar faces: Tsumabuki Satoshi from Hello BlackJack Shibasaki Kou, who I really like but don't think has been in anything shown here recently--or at all Shiraishi Miho from HOTMAN 2 Konishi Manami from HOTMAN Fubuki Jun from Younger Men
probably appeal to younger audience (20s) but i'm glad that KIKU brought a popular drama and hope it increases viewership--therefore more dramas. |

| So when is it on? I remember seeing a commercial that it's going to be on at 9pm, but I spaced out on what day it starts. |

Ditto.
What DAY does it start on KIKU? I haven't seen the commercial and KIKU-TV isn't helping much by NOT updating its website. |

| They just added a "Coming Soon" box to the top of the main Kiku page. It lists the dates and times for the three new shows. Making It Through 7, Orange Days, and Heaven's Coins...3?! I was under the impression that there was only 2 seasons of the original series. This must be that newer remake they did in around 2001 or so. And that means no more Sakai Noriko, shucks.. |

Yes, this was broadcast in Japan as "SHIN Hoshi no Kinka." Kinda like "Star Trek: The Next Generation" or something -- not a sequel as this English title infers.
Oh. Well. |

You should get NGN and watch FIGHT... I get to see Nori-P 15 minutes, six days a week.

I remember they updated the Heaven's Coins info a week or so AFTER it aired. Thank god there are forum members who are more up-to-date than they are.
Hi cori-chan,im Sansei and in Orange Days did anyone Notice that The Actor Who Played Shuuichi in Heaven's Coin's Fame is also in Orange days and This Show that I've seen before that it's almost the Same as Heaven's Coin's only Different Character's and I've also Noticed that the Actor Who Played Shuichi meet's up with an actress who is Meant to Play a Deaf Girl and It's just like when he met up with Aya played by Noriko Sakai so I Thought to Share my Thought's with everyone on this Post.
Well thanks for your Time:O)

Haisai, Naomi. By the way, my Okinawan language teacher says if you're female you're supposed to say "Haitai." "Haisai" is for males. Ueto Aya made the same mistake in Song of the Sugarcane field last year. Anybody catch that?
anyway, I'm waiting for Orange Days. Should be a good drama to assign my Japanese students.

sometimes when she "signs" there's Japanese subtitles so even more challenge. we'll see if KIKU runs the english subs over those. |
