I'm so glad that KIKU is showing Heaven's Coin 3 :D
When was Heaven's Coin 3 made?.
I hope Kinpachi Sensei is coming towards us soon.

Shin Hoshi no Kinka aired in Japan 4/2001. Totally new story, with new characters, although it does involve yet another deaf mute female.
It stars Hoshino Mari and Fujiwara Tatsuya. Mari was also Kinpachi Sensei's daughter in several seasons of that drama. And, she played 19-year old Asami on Toshi****a no Otoko (Younger Men). She also sings the theme song to Shin Hoshi no Kinka.
Fujiwara Tatsuya played Okita in Shinsengumi!

Thank you Groink for the information...does this new story also use that yellow book "Hoshi no Kinka"? Just curious because the name of that book was the name of Hoshi No Kinka series.
Yes, I have watched Hoshino Mari grow up on Kinpachi Sensei series. When she was in Toshis h i tano Otokonoko, she played totally different role from her innocent Otome Sakamoto role of Kinpachi Sensei series, and I was very surprised to see her like that.

Hi Kayoko,Im Sansei and I Know when Heaven's Coin's no 3 Came out,it was when Jnp was Affiliated with Kiku and When They Made Heaven's Coin's no 3,this was the Final Chapter in this Series and If you Read on Heaven's Coin's no 3,you will find out what happened with all of our Favorite Character's from this Wonderful Show and I Remember all of what happened only Im not able to Say is The Poster's on this Board wouldnt enjoy Reading about it so I hope you look up Heaven's Coin's no 3 under Show's and You will find out what Truly Happens so I hope this may Help?

hoshinokinka 3 or are you talking about the 2 hour tv special??? if your talking about the 2 hour special, it came out in 97. I still have a copy of that tv special when it aired in japan from when i use to work at Heart Breeze/j-wave....

Heavens Coins 3 is not referring to the Sakai Noriko Heavens Coins series. As groink mentioned in one of the posts above, it stars a whole new bunch of characters. |

I like this series too! I like Fujiwara Tatsuya & Hoshino Mari.
I like Hiroto's character. He seems to be the one who speaks his mind. He really attacked the dad! Think it may have had something to do with is past.

i'm liking this new show. i didn't watch it the 1st time around, i guess i was too much of a fan of the original cast, but i decided to give it a try this time...i'm enjoying it.
so sad that it does not seem like handicapped people aren't accepted in japan, maybe thats why they're so many shows about them, to try and get them to be more accepted. |

I'm waiting to see who the cat man turns out to be. He has shown up twice to help and give Mahiru advice. I liked how he got the cats to stop fighting.
