| Andy Warhol said something about everyone would be famous for 15 minutes. As long as the kids take it in a "it was fun to be on TV, even if we didn't win" fashion, no harm done. I recall that getting in a picture published in the local newspaper was a big deal. These days, it's getting flashed on the news doing something less than "Jackass." But then, crime dramas are full of unresolved childhood traumas that turn into adult explosions. (Or great comedians.) |

Hi This is sansei and Tonight,Im Watching the Replay Episode's of the Challenger's of Fire and I Know this is way More Entertaining than that Show they had with Akiko Wada and At least if someone doesnt win, they give them the satisfaction like saying you did your best and When the Person who Win's get's yen or Money so That's a Nice Prize so I Thought to share this with everyone.
well thank's for your Time:O) |

This is the only show I watch on Kiku. But I think it pretty sick when the camera man is trying to stick that camera right up the womens skirts. |

Japanese humor is a bit different and often times goes to certain extremes. I mean look at Hard Gay for example and how he often times is rotating and thrusting his hips right in a childs face. As a comedian, it is okay for him to do but if anyone else did that, they would get their knuckles rapped. Same for the comedian's who often times will drop their drawers for a laugh though I recall two of the ones from Mechaike (one of them was the chubby guy) who exposed themselves during a performance at a university were cited for public indecency. Several years ago, Okamura (monkeyboy) of Mechaike once walked out on the set completely naked (of course the TV version had the nice little drawing censoring his privates) and they kept showing this baby in the audience laughing. A recent episode of Music Fighter also had a part where Aoki grabs her co-hosts crotch while they had an interview going with Berryz Koubou. She does it twice and then when the girls are all screaming, she makes this wiping motion towards them. I have to admit it was funny but can you imagine if this was done same style on American TV?
Anyone who has happened to seen old Japanese shows like Bikkuri Camera (sort of like Candid Camera but often times with really mean jokes) or Fuji TV's Wide Specials know they even pull some really scary stuff on unsuspecting geinojin. Mechaike occasionally does similar sort of pranks on their show but still cannot hold a candle to Bikkuri Camera.
The funniest Bikkuri Camera episode I've seen was Tsunku of Sharan-Q fame and now well known Hello! Project producer where he thought he was in trouble with the yakuza. He was on the verge of tears and probably crapping his pants when the "yak" was bitching him out in a back room that he had been taken to. I have this on tape and need to find it since I've yet to see this show up on You Tube or any of the torrent sites. One of the cruelist pranks on another episode was on a celeb who watched a car go off a cliff and was equally panic striken as the "family member" who came running asking for help.
As for the upskirt thing, it's a play on the hentai peeping tom oyaji but it is most definitely not an okay thing to do in real life. On variety shows though, innuendo and lewd behavior most often needs to be expected when you have comedians hosting a show. |

I'm just soo bad.
I know I should feel sympathy for the kids involved in the Haunted House challenge, but I laughed it off. It only reminded me when I used to help ran a haunted house and giving the kids pretty good scare. Even when I apologized to the parents for making their children wet their pants, I'm not being sincere.
I'm soo bad.
Anyhoo, just some random thoughts... |

Those kids are adorable running to get groceries and things... I think american kids should learn some life skills at and early age too. No wonder Japanese are kicking our collective butts :)
Well I'm sure there are failings on both sides. |

hi this is sansei and Tonight i watched my Favorite game show and it was So humorous and I Thought the Young Girl was going to win until she thought the key was to unlock the door looking for her okasan and Then the time ran out and she found her mom and in my Thought's about when they Put the Camera trying to look under the lady's Dresses,in my opinion, that seems kind of Vulgar and that's just my opinon. They look cute and all only that is kind of Vulgar. It's humorous in a way only that's not Good. if you did that here, you'd get arrested.i Like the Bowling segment and the One you'd have to pick the Paper up with the Chopstick's that the Paper fall's from the Machine and that's Humourous and I miss the Monkey vs Human, now that was Lol!
Well thank's for your Time
