What happened on Partner's Detective show last night? I thought show was cut short to begin anime show @ 10:00pm. No message "to be continued" or nothing. Looks like somebody messed up. I hope show does continue next week. I want to find what happens? Does the old guy get killed, too?

If you look at the KIKU calendar, it shows the episode as 12"A". So there will be a "B" this coming Thursday.

| Thanks Groink! I never thought about looking on KIKU's schedule. But then, it's rare KIKU shows a 3-part detective drama episode. Most detective mysteries end within 1-hour show, crime solved. This episode of Partners, is 3-hours long. They could have used this show for full-length movie. |

on NGN2 which Partners is shown ( now at Partners 4 ) there are usually at start of a new season of the series a movie of 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours long "episode" movie. KIKU can't show a movie in their set slot i would think.

It would be nice if KIKU continues Partners detective series. I think this show is a good one. I agree with you Gymanime. Would be difficult to bump Classic Abarenbo Shogun show from 8 o'clock time slot, to show extended Partners show. I bet all the ojisan and obasan would complain to KIKU for bumping their all-time favorite samurai show, and/or keeping them up beyond their bedtime. |

I would like to see on KIKU the rest of Partners, seasons #2 - #4, subtitled! Not been fluent in Nihongo I need the subs.

OK....Last night's Partners Detective series ended with an interesting twist, more than 1 murderer. I missed the last two minutes of this episode, due to bathroom break, but, it looks like the series ended. Is this correct? I guess I need to wait until next week's KIKU schedule, but, the refusal to accept the plea deal for "his excellency" crimes, and Yasuhisa's (I think that's his name) determination to look for evidence to prosecute "his excellency", points to a season ending conclusion, like American TV dramas. Kind of like, stay tuned for next season's conclusion. |

Hooray!! You were right MBWahine98. I saw promo on KIKU last night during Taiga drama. For awhile, I thought KIKU might do Abarenbo Shogun marathon on Thursday nights. Can not wait for Thursday night to see new Partners 2, 2-hour special. |

Well, I guess I need to keep this discussion topic active, since I started it. But, last night's Partners 2, 2-hr. premiere was quite interesting. Sort of like, black widow killer theme. Young attractive and intelligent woman murderer matching wits against detectives Yasuhisa (I think that's his name) and Kameyama. Show had me fooled. I thought murder was solved by Kogure-san (suspect)attempted suicide. Only this was another trap set by Ms. Kogure to entrap detectives into a media driven scandal. How will Yasuhisa and Kameyama turn the tables? Interesting show. I like the story format. Sort of like 24 series screenplay. |

I am thrilled with the AIBOU (Partners) series, even more happy that season #2 is here! If there was also a way KIKU could get season #3, it would be an amazingly good thing! This is easily my favorite show on Hawai'ian television!

AIBOU = Partners? That's interesting, just like the Sony robot dog named AIBO. Without the U. Well, last night's Partners 2 was good. It did not dawn on me until 1/2 way into show Kogure-san might have killed her father, too. Looks like Sugi****a and Kameyama gets reinstated back to Special Mission dept. Kind of like the "Special Projects" dept. in US companies. Boy, once you're assigned to special projects in US company, you know your next promotion is out the door. I'd better get back to my special project assignment. Ha! Ha! |

Last night (episode 3)'s AIBOU (Partners) was nice! Just when I think I'm getting fairly good at guessing the killer / thief, along comes a crazy episode like last night's to force me to re-evaluate my skills. Ukyo-san's demeanor is getting increasingly funny with each episode at the point in which he realizes who the culprit is... I love this show!

Last night's Partners 2 episode was another good show. I liked the technical story line, using compressed air to create a weapon and kill someone. Even the disappearing bullet mystery had me thinking. I actually thought I solved that mystery half-way through the show. I thought culprit used ice bullets fired through the compressed air rifle. I guess I was wrong. The bone fragment bullet caught me by surprise. Actually, I was more interested in solving the weapon mystery, than identifying who pulled the trigger. |

I'm not sure if this is a mistake or not....
According to the haole calendar (TitanTV), Partners 2 will also air this Friday 5/25 at 9:00pm. Unfortunately I can't look back to last week Friday, so I'm not sure if P2 aired last week Friday.
