I was in Japan this past week and was so consumed in my travels that I didn't have time to watch TV much, save for a few baseball games, earthquake highlights, and weather reports. I actually caught the Yaguchi scandal the day after the poop hit the A/C, when the reinstatement petition began.
It'll probably take a few days for me to fully realize what has happened, now that I'm back home and online again.
So is it official that Aichan is the "sub-leader"? Does it even matter at this juncture? ____
The new single, due in stores next Wednesday, is available for download at several places. It sure sounds like R&B Gomaki to me.

Ishikawa Rika officially left Musume and Company on Saturday at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. New member Kusumi Koharu was also introduced to the crowd of 10,000+. The group remains ten girls strong. |

PEPPAAAAAHHH... KEIBU!
Alas, yes. Single #37. Another cover.
Here's the story on Sankei Sports: http://www.sanspo.com/geino/news/080908/gnj0809080433000-n1.htm (Nihongo desu).
Dig the ancient B&W photo, like they didn't have color in those days.
And nine members looks almost... manageable on stage.
Yaay! More royalties for the estate of Aku Yu! |
